JAKARTA, INDONESIA – In a decisive move to bolster operational reliability and safety excellence, PT Datang DSSP Power Indonesia (DDPI) successfully concluded its 2026 Safety Skill Training and Competition. The intensive four-day program, held from January 26–29, 2026, focused on the high-stakes discipline of Confined Space Rescue, reinforcing the company’s commitment to a world-class safety culture.

A Milestone for Unified Safety Excellence
The initiative, a collaboration between the Safety Production and HRGA Divisions, brought together 16 elite participants nominated from various Independent Power Producer (IPP) sites. Selection was rigorous, based on tenure, performance, and endorsement from site leadership.
This year’s event marked a historic milestone as PT Meulaboh Power Generation, a sister company under CDTO, joined the competition for the first time. Their participation signals a broadening of the safety mandate, fostering a unified culture across all CDTO power plants in Indonesia.

Significantly, all participants qualified for official certification from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower, following examinations conducted via the Teman K3 Portal.
The program culminated in a high-pressure competition designed to evaluate the participants' readiness for real-world emergencies. Following a comprehensive assessment of both written knowledge and practical execution, PT DSSP Power Kendari emerged as the Overall Winner, achieving the highest aggregate score among the competing sites.
